ok, stay out of fights!!!

So. Yesterday at school I was preparing for my morning before school and I hear in the hall some girls using some choice words. So I step out to see what the commotion was. It was a girl fight! So I step back in and call for administrators and then go back in the hall. When I got back out there another teacher had stepped up and was trying to intervene. Now, my general policy is that I don't get involved. Especially now that I'm 9 weeks pregnant after trying for so long. Anyway, she had one of the girls by the arms and asked me to help. Only a handfull of very close people know that I'm preggers. So this other teacher asked me for help, so I instictively grab the other girl by the arms. We did finally get them apart, but in the process I was hit in the arm. Not hard, in fact my husband and I play around like that!!!! But man, let me tell you, the hubs laid into me when he found out, then my mom did, then my sister did and one of the secretaries at school did!!!! And now, I have to file a workman's comp claim, I had to be examined by the school nurse and file a police report. Seriously, I was not injured at all!
